Evelyn Partners has announced the appointment of Austin Flood as a financial planner in the firm’s Guildford office.

The hire will aim to help the firm keep pace with the increased demand it is seeing for wealth management services in Guildford and wider Surrey.

Flood joins Evelyn Partners from Bespoke Independent Financial Advisers where he has spent the past four years working as a financial adviser. He will be based at Evelyn Partners’ office at Onslow House in the heart of Guildford.

Lee Matthews, managing partner in Evelyn Partners’ Guildford office, said: “We are continuing to see an increase in demand for financial planning and investment management in Guildford and we are hiring talented and experienced financial planners to service our existing and future clients.

‘We are looking forward to Austin joining us and helping clients achieve their financial ambitions. He has considerable experience in tax and investment planning for high net worth individuals and I believe he will be a great asset for our team.”

Flood added: “I am incredibly grateful to be joining the team at Evelyn Partners. Having spent the past few years developing my skills as an adviser, I feel this move is a wonderful opportunity and an exciting new challenge. I can’t wait to start working closely with the team, building lasting relationships and helping clients achieve their retirement goals.”
