Tilney Smith and Williamson has announced the appointment of wealth management professional Richard Stanwell as investment director.Stanwell brings 25 years of financial service experience and will help drive the continued growth of the firm’s London investment management team.

He joins Tilney Smith and Williamson from EFG Private Bank where, from 2018, he was senior director and worked with a range of clients, including trusts, foundations and family offices.

Chris Kenny, managing director at Tilney Smith and Williamson, said: “I am delighted to welcome Richard to the team at Tilney Smith & Williamson. This is a significant appointment for us and I know that Richard will play an important role in helping to bring continued growth to our wealth management business.

“Richard has operated at a senior level at a number of leading financial service firms and our clients will benefit from his extensive experience and expertise.”
