Barnes Roffe

Background Summary

Founded in Moorgate, London, in 1899, Barnes Roffe is an independent firm of chartered accountants and business advisors. The firm operates from five locations across the capital, with its Bushwood site in East London being the oldest, dating back to the late 1970s.

Newer offices at London Bridge and Liverpool Street were established in 2016 and 2018 and link to the group’s South London and East London sites, respectively.

While some 15 of the firm’s partners are audit partners, four act as tax partners, one serves as an audit and corporate finance partner, one as a tax and corporate finance partner, one as partner designate, and one as a partner.

Barnes Roffe provides audit and assurance, consulting, financial advisory, risk management, and tax services to owner-managers and corporate clients.

Moreover, the company offers support in managing assets, guidance on trusts, tax liability reductions, inheritance tax advice, estate planning, and pensions for its individual clients.

The firm’s complete service offerings break down into four key areas; audit and financial, taxation, corporate finance and specialist advisor services, and accounting and business advisory services.

As for the sectors Barnes Roffe covers, these include but are not limited to charities, e-commerce, construction, financial services, healthcare, hospitality and leisure, manufacturing, media, property and real estate, retail, transport and logistics, and travel.

Barnes Roffe reported an annual turnover of £24.03m for the year ended 5 June 2023, which shows a rise of 14.06% year-on-year compared with the prior year.
