Bishop Fleming has announced it has promoted one of its trainee successes, Kevin Connor, to partner, where he will be based at the firm’s Truro office.

Connor, who joined in 2000 as a trainee, progressed through the firm’s managerial ranks, and now with over 20-years of experience, he plays a key part in delivering “exceptional” client service within Cornwall and across the South West.

The firm’s presence in Cornwall continues to grow in strength, with “ambitious” plans for further expansion across the region.

His promotion will see him join Truro partners, Ally Allington and Alison Oliver, bringing the firm’s total partner group to 33.

Connor has a significant background in advising corporate businesses of all sizes and specialises in delivering audit and assurance services working with businesses across a broad range of sectors.

According to the firm, his appointment brings an “important enhancement” to its Truro office, and his extensive knowledge and expertise will “bring leading advice and support to businesses across Cornwall”.

Connor said: “I am delighted to be promoted to Partner at our Truro office. The firm has huge ambitions for the region, and I am excited to work with new and existing clients here in Cornwall.

“Having started with Bishop Fleming as a trainee, it’s great to now be leading our Truro office as it grows, delivering a breadth of skills and knowledge to a wide range of clients.”

Robert Davey, partner, Bishop Fleming, added: “It gives me great pleasure to announce Kevin’s promotion as he has demonstrated a great depth of technical expertise and experience within our business.

“His promotion is well deserved and is part of the firm’s strategy to grow our key advisory services to clients here in Cornwall.”
