Hawsons, an independent accountancy practice, has announced two promotions at its Doncaster office.
Effective from 1 April 2021, Dan Wood and James Snipe have been promoted to partner and audit manager respectively.
Joining the group’s Sheffield office in 2012, Wood since moved to the Doncaster operation as manager in 2018.
Working with a variety of clients, including corporate entities, sole traders, and partnerships, Wood advises on a “wide range of business and taxation matters”.
Used to “offering day-today assistance in addition to discussing wider strategic issues”, Snipe serves corporate clients, charitable entities, sole traders, and partnerships.
He brings five years of experience at Hawsons to the role, following regional level roles at two chartered practices.
Martin Wilmott, managing partner for Doncaster at Hawsons, said: “Dan and James thoroughly deserve their promotion to partner and audit manager respectively.

He added that the promotions will further enable the firm to support its “continuingly growing client base” in the region.
