Secure Trust Bank has announced the appointment of Rachel Lawrence as chief financial officer.
Lawrence will join the company on 7 September and has also been appointed as an executive director.
Prior to this, she held the position of CFO of AIB Group UK since 2016. She was also the finance director for Shawbrook Bank and held the position of head of finance at Metro Bank.
Lawrence said she is “delighted” to be joining the company and is “looking forward” to working with the board and management team in its education of the group’s strategy.
Paul Lynam, CEO, said: “Rachel has a robust financial background having worked for over three decades in diverse business sectors but with a focus on financial services.
“I welcome her as a member of my leadership team and look forward to working with Rachel in the delivery of our strategy as we emerge from the current challenging period.”
Lord Forsyth, chairman, added: “I am delighted that after a rigorous recruitment process we have been able to attract somebody of Rachel’s skills and experience to join as our new CFO. I expect Rachel to make a strong contribution to the future success of the group.”
