Accountancy firm Cooper Parry has reported a 9.8% increase in organic revenue growth in 2019, according to accounts filed with Companies House.
Reported revenue growth was 6.3%, impacted by a decision to “divest businesses during the previous financial year”.
Despite this, turnover increased to £36.7m during the period, up from £34.2m on the previous year, and profit before tax also grew from £8.4m to £9.4m in 2019.
The firm made 40 promotions and welcomed 143 new staff in 2019, including five partners.
Additionally, Cooper Parry benefited from a “major refurb” to its east Midlands office, Sky View, in 2019, and has also expanded into new offices in London, Bristol and Dallas, Texas.
CEO Ade Cheatham said: “It’s been another fantastic year. We’ve put the power of culture front and centre once more, and being recognised and awarded for our efforts always feels good.
“With three new offices on both sides of the Atlantic, a world-beating IT team to complement our core business areas, and consistent engagement with some really exciting entrepreneurs, we’re in position to raise the bar again in 2020.”
He added: “Doubling in size since 2015, we’re ahead of the curve in our bold ambition to become a £150m+ business. We’re still disrupting. We’re still leading. We’re still making life count. And that’s what it’s all about.”
