Premier Tax Solutions, a Staffordshire accountancy firm, has marked 10 years in business.
Premier Tax Solutions was founded in 2015 by friends and business partners Vanessa Fuller and Emily Precious, who trained and worked together at one of the UK’s largest accountancy firms before launching their own venture in Hanley.
Since then, the firm has grown to a team of seven with two consultants, and in 2023 moved into new offices at the Business Lodge on Victoria Road in Fenton. It previously operated from sites in Hanley and Cheadle.
Premier Tax Solutions provides tax and VAT management services, along with payroll and book-keeping.
Director Vanessa Fuller said their continued growth was driven by a progressive outlook: “Outside of work myself and Emily have been through a lot individually so we both know how important it is to be happy and what’s important in life. We both bring that mindset into the office.
“We of course want our clients to be happy, and we pride ourselves on giving that personal service to each and every one of them. We certainly distance ourselves from the misconception that accountants are stuffy or can’t have a laugh. We always get the job done but build up a good rapport with our clients in the process. Business is built on good, trustworthy relationships and that’s the same ethos we have with our staff.”
She added: “Covid taught us that you don’t have to be in the office to get a job done. Flexibility is key – we don’t care where our staff work from as long as the job is done and it’s done well.
“With the summer holidays around the corner our team know that if they need to juggle childcare, they will be given the flexibility to do so and work from home for the whole summer if they need to. This is what sets us apart and helps us attract the best staff, which helps us deliver the best service to our clients. We’re very grateful to our team and are all looking forward to what the next year brings.”
Now entering its 11th year, the firm is adopting new technology to support clients with tax management and is hosting a series of free monthly webinars offering advice and guidance.
