Bishop Fleming has promoted four staff to partner level as the firm continues its expansion across the West Midlands and South West.
Christian Crawford, Richard Newton and Chris Trantham have each become partners in the audit team, while Ben Herbert has been made a partner in tax.
The appointments come as the firm reports continued double-digit revenue growth, with income expected to reach nearly £50m in 2025. The audit division has recorded annual revenue increases of at least 20% over the past four years.
Crawford joined Bishop Fleming in 2018 and leads its hospitality and leisure sector. Newton, who joined in 2013, advises owner-managed businesses, while Trantham, who joined in 2009, specialises in the academy sector. Herbert, who started as a graduate trainee in 2005, is based in Exeter and will focus on developing the firm’s tax services in the region.
Joe Scaife, head of service lines at Bishop Fleming, said: “I am so pleased to welcome Christian, Ben, Richard and Chris to the partnership. We have seen audit revenues increase by at least 20% in each of the last four years and each of our newly promoted partners is eager to bring their individual areas of expertise to drive our ambitious growth in the market.
“With another strong year underway, bolstered by this latest round of promotions, the firm is on track for similar results, further solidifying our position as one of the region’s leading audit providers.”
