Business advisory firm Quantuma has completed the sale of Cambridgeshire-based, commercial print and direct mail company Premier Communications (Peterborough) Limited out of administration

This pre-pack sale secured the future of the business and protected 17 jobs. All 17 staff have been transferred to the purchases, PremCom UK Ltd, under TUPE regulations.

Quantuma’s Rehan Ahmed and Jeremy Woodside were appointed as joint administrators on 30 April 2025 to oversee the process.

Established in 1999, Premier Communications is an established brand within Peterborough in Cambridgeshire, known for delivering bespoke solutions for business print and marketing communications using the latest digital printing technology.

The business reported turnover of £4.2m in 2023. However, due to a series of challenging circumstances, including cost pressures and reduction in client budgets during COVID-19, Premier Communications had encountered cashflow issues and was unable to restructure outside of a formal insolvency.

The Quantuma team, which included Manraj Mand and Mary Dempsey, worked alongside Ward Hadaway who provided legal advice and chartered surveyors John Pye and Sons Limited.

Ahmed, joint administrator and managing director at Quantuma, said: “I am very pleased to have achieved such a positive outcome for this well-established business, ensuring that 17 employees’ jobs have been saved. We are delighted to have secured the long-term viability of the business, allowing it to continue its journey whilst supported by a buyer with the ability to take Premier Communications forwards. We wish the team every success in their next chapter.”
