MHA, the UK member firm of Baker Tilly International, has announced the appointment of Ella Saunders as a senior corporate tax manager at its Colchester office.

Saunders’ appointment comes as the firm continues to strengthen its tax offering across the East Anglia region.

She joins MHA having spent five years at a large global accounting firm, and will bring this experience and knowledge to her new position as senior manager. She is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT).

As a senior corporate tax manager, Saunders will support the firm’s clients with all aspects of corporate tax including compliance and advisory matters.

Saunders said: “I have known about MHA’s people first culture for a while and having met with partners Cara Miller and Ryan Swann and learnt about their plans for MHA in East Anglia I jumped at the chance of being a part of something bigger.

“Their vision for East Anglia and their plans for growth, in particular around tax and corporate tax is incredibly exciting and I can’t wait to be a part of this growth.”

Cara Miller, partner in MHA’s Colchester office, added: “We have extremely ambitious plans for the growth of our Colchester office and position across East Anglia and Ella’s appointment is key to expanding our tax offering within the region.

“Ella will support a range of clients from owner-managed businesses to much larger international entities.”
