Alvarez and Marsal Tax appoints two MDs

Alvarez and Marsal Tax (A&M) has announced the appointment of two managing directors, Jonathan Balcombe and Alexander Marcham.

Balcombe joins to lead Portfolio Tax Services, while Marcham stands up the firm’s UK-based Family Office service line.

Balcombe was most recently a partner with Evelyn Partners, where he was responsible for sell-side transaction tax support (including vendor due diligence) and PE portfolio services.

Prior to joining A&M, Marcham served as head of tax and a member of the senior management team of a London-based single-family office and private venture capital investor.

The hires come as A&M continues its growth in the UK and adds fresh capabilities to its growing Private Capital business launched by Victoria Price earlier this year.
