Robb Ferguson, the Glasgow-based, independent firm of Chartered Accountants, has hired five graduate trainee-chartered accountants to its team.

The five will embark on a training program to become ICAS (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland) CA’s, “further strengthening the firm’s commitment to excellence and innovation in the fields of accountancy, audit and tax”.

The firm said the new trainees were selected from a “highly competitive pool” of applicants.
Over the course of their training, the graduates will gain experience working closely with professionals across all departments within the business and contributing to the firm’s wide range of client services.

Robb Ferguson, which has a history that dates back to the 1880s, offers a wide range of tailored services for clients including audit, taxation, and business advisory services.

Janice Alexander, one of the firm’s four partners, said: “There are lots of talented and energetic young people in Scotland seeking a career in accountancy and we have been fortunate to hire five more such individuals. We are delighted to welcome them to Robb Ferguson as they set about their unique training with us to become tomorrow’s qualified professionals.

Robb Ferguson has a current headcount of 60 employees.
