Johnston Carmichael Wealth expands into Dundee
Whitters joined the firm in recent weeks and will work closely with financial planner Fernie, who has more than 14 years’ experience in financial services
Johnston Carmichael Wealth has expanded into Dundee following two new appointments based in the city.
Lauren Whitters and Duncan Fernie, who collectively have almost 25 years’ experience in the financial sector, join the team as financial planners.
The Wealth team now employs six members of staff in Dundee, with employee numbers in the wider Johnston Carmichael regional hub in the city up from three when it opened in 2019 to 40.
Johnston Carmichael Wealth employs over 60 staff, forming financial planning, business and client support teams across the UK as part of Johnston Carmichael, Chartered Accountancy and Business Advisory firm.
Whitters joined the firm in recent weeks and will work closely with financial planner Fernie, who has more than 14 years’ experience in financial services.
Whitters’ specialisms include savings and investments, inheritance tax mitigation and estate planning, pre- and post-retirement planning, and reviewing existing financial planning arrangements.
Other recent additions to the team in the past year include the appointment of chartered financial planner Martin Hendry to its Glasgow office, boosting its presence in the Central Belt.
