Blackburn and Bury-based PM+M has appointed Stephen Robinson as its corporate finance director.

In his new role, Robinson will be focusing on M&A transactions, disposals, acquisitions, valuations and buy-outs.
His appointment follows the recent arrival of Ryan Bilsborough who joined the team as a manager in September 2022.

Robinson has worked in the finance sector for nearly 25 years.

He primarily works with private companies across many sectors on deals that vary in value from £1m to £50m.
He also specialises in corporate divestiture, change management, post deal integration and private equity.

Prior to joining PM+M, he jointly ran his own buy side M&A advisory firm called Auxilium Advisory. During his career, Stephen has also worked at Zeus Capital, Grant Thornton and Ernst and Young.

Robinson said: “PM+M is a highly respected firm with a long track record of delivering excellence to its clients, so I knew the fit was right. I am excited to now be part of its future and play my part in delivering its ambitious growth plans over the next few years.”

Paul Spencer, partner at PM+M, added: “Stephen has a fantastic reputation in the CF community, so we are delighted that he has joined the business. His experience will add real value to our clients and will help to grow our reach – both across Lancashire and the wider North West region.”
