Wilder Coe has promoted Faye Thompson to partner and head of accounting support to oversee the strategic growth of the department.

Thompson joined the firm in 2008 as a senior accountant and has since held several management positions.

During her tenure, Thompson led the migration of the firm’s systems from Sage50 to Xero. She most recently served as head of cloud accounting, where she managed client onboarding, internal training, and the implementation of automated accounting systems.

The promotion follows Thompson’s work in expanding the firm’s presence within the renewable energy sector.

In her new role, she will focus on improving business efficiencies through app integrations and supporting clients with digital transformation.

Thompson said: “My journey here has taken me from my first role in practice through leading our move to cloud accounting and building the systems and workflows that support both our clients and our teams.

“I’m passionate about helping businesses work smarter through technology and great processes, and I’m excited to keep growing our team, supporting our clients, and shaping the future direction of the firm.”

Robert Bradman, joint managing partner, added: “Her contribution to the firm has been outstanding, and she has played a central role in the success and development of the accounting support department. We are very much looking forward to her continued leadership and impact as a partner.”
