Consilium Chartered Accountants has provided lead advisory and tax due diligence services to Cleartech Group for the acquisition of Wigan-based ECB (Water Solutions) Limited.
The deal is Cleartech’s first acquisition outside of Scotland and significantly compliments its existing HVAC commissioning, water treatment and Legionella compliance services in England.
ECB is a provider of Legionella control services to industrial and commercial outlets in the Greater Manchester and Lancashire regions.
Continuing a long-standing relationship between Consilium Chartered Accountants and Cleartech, CEO Jim McGuigan retained the services of advisors corporate finance partner John Blair and tax partner Craig Coyle.
Following the acquisition, Cleartech now supports clients from multiple locations in the UK across Scotland, the north-east of England, the north-west of England and London.
