Translink Corporate Finance UK has announced the promotion of Will Holmes to partner.

With more than 10 years at the firm, Holmes has played a significant role in Translink’s continued growth and has been a key asset in the delivery of cross-border deals across various industries.

In his new role, Holmes will continue to focus Translink’s presence in the UK market while collaborating with the firm’s international group to deliver cross-border M&A transactions.

Since joining Translink in 2015, he has demonstrated exceptional expertise in mergers and acquisitions, led on significant, high-profile deals and built strong client relationships.

Holmes said: “I am delighted to join the partnership team at Translink Corporate Finance UK. It feels like we are creating something special here at Translink, and it’s a privilege to be part of this exciting journey alongside such a fantastic team both in the UK and across the globe.

“My progression wouldn’t have been possible without the support of my incredible team, my mentors and fellow Partners Hamish Morrison and Andy Haigh, our clients, and our fellow professionals in the M&A market. I’m grateful for this amazing opportunity and I’m looking forward to playing a major role in the future development of our business.”

Andy Haigh, Translink Corporate Finance UK partner, added: “On behalf of the firm, I would like to congratulate Will on his well-earned promotion to partner. I have worked with Will since he started at Translink, and it is safe to say that his hard work, dedication, and commitment to delivering excellent outcomes for our clients has played a major part in our recent successes.

“It’s been a privilege to see his growth and the impact he’s had both on the team and for our clients. Will’s promotion is thoroughly deserved, and I have no doubt that he will continue to play a key role in shaping the future of Translink in the UK.”
