Menzies has announced the appointment of six new partners as part of its ongoing growth plans.

From the six partners Helen Cuthbert, Andrew Galliers, Robert Kruppa, Charlotte Langdon and Andrew Wooding have been promoted from within the existing Menzies team:

Meanwhile, Hezelina Hashim, who has joined from BDO, has been appointed as an Audit and Assurance partner at Menzies’ Heathrow office.

With prior experience at Deloitte and Andersen, she has worked with numerous technology companies and international groups and she will continue her focus on growing these areas at Menzies.

Cuthbert has over 25 years of experience in Private Client Tax. Joining Menzies in July 2021 as a director, she brought with her a wealth of experience from previous roles at EY, James Cowper Kreston, and BPP.

On the other hand, Galliers joined Menzies in August 2007 as an accounts and audit trainee in the Solent office and, after spending some time on secondment with HLB Mann Judd in Sydney, has continued to specialise in audit clients.

Joining Menzies in March 2006, Kruppa oversees Accounts and Advisory, playing a crucial role in building and developing the service offering. Beyond his professional duties, Kruppa leads the Solent office’s CSR initiatives and organises opportunities for colleagues to connect.

Langdon’s career at Menzies commenced in 2010 as an Audit ACA trainee, following a week of work experience that inspired her to apply for a graduate position.

Her professional journey has seen her work across multiple office locations, including Farnborough, Heathrow, Woking, and London. She is also head of the manufacturing sector team and using her background in the technical team, works with many different types of business, including complex groups, international businesses, and pension scheme audits.

Additionally, Wooding joined Menzies in 2012 as a manager through a practice merger with London-based Target.

He is a member of the Hospitality and Leisure Sector team and specialises in restaurant, golf, and leisure clients, working both with UK based businesses and international groups.

Simon Massey, managing partner at Menzies LLP, said: “I am delighted to share the news of Menzies’ six new partner appointments. Helen, Andrew, Robert, Charlotte, Andrew and Hezelina are so deserving of the partnership and each of them epitomise our Brighter Thinking approach in all they do.

“These appointments further drive our plans for growth this year and will help us to continue to provide the excellence in work and service we are known for at Menzies. I very much look forward to seeing each of our new partners continue to achieve and grow as they continue their careers with the firm.”
