Crowe UK has announced the appointment of Buki Obayiuwana to its risk consulting team.

She joins Crowe from an independent consultancy focused on business change and transformation.

Obayiuwana is a chartered accountant and transformation specialist and has a proven record of leading and delivering complex portfolios of change and transformation.

This included a recent £50m strategic change portfolio covering all corporate functions for a large financial services group.

In her new role, Obayiuwana will lead Crowe risk consulting’s transformation services which centres around collaboration with its clients.

Obayiuwana said: “I am delighted to be joining Crowe and working with such a talented group of people. Boards and senior management must navigate a complex and evolving risk and regulatory landscape.

“They must be seen to respond effectively to demand from investors, campaigners, customers, and employees alike to demonstrate real progress and commitment to ESG, climate and sustainability related matters, as a core part of the delivery of their strategic outcomes.”
