PKF Littlejohn has announced the appointment of Hannes Verwey as a partner in its audit team in London.

Verwey specialises in auditing large global businesses, both privately owned and publicly listed, reporting under IFRS, UK and US GAAP.

He has a particularly strong track record in the technology sector, and has worked with UK-based companies with operations across the globe.

His clients have included businesses listed on stock exchanges in London, New York, both NYSE and Nasdaq, Tokyo, Madrid and Johannesburg.

Dominic Roberts, managing partner, said: “Hannes is known for auditing complex multi-national businesses, so his experience is a natural fit with our client base.

“Hannes’ arrival further strengthens our partner group and gives us the opportunity to continue to expand among privately owned businesses, UK-listed entities and companies falling under the scope of the PCAOB in the US.”

He added: “It has been fantastic to see our strong group of partners continue to grow this year, with both internal and external hires, while ensuring that we maintain the special culture that has helped drive our success.

“Hannes is the second external partner hire from the Big Four in the past month, which sends a very strong message about our reputation in the market and the ambitions we have for the future.”
