Chartered Accountancy company, Magma has appointed Chris Matthews to its corporate finance team as a corporate finance manager.

Prior to Magma, Matthews was a former employee of HSKS Greenhalgh and  brings over a decade of experience as a corporate finance professional.

He then worked for five years as a corporate finance manager for the same company and is known to be a private business specialist, with particular knowledge and expertise in the healthcare sector.

As Matthews takes on the new role of corporate finance manager at Magma, Shafwaan Bheda, head of corporate finance, said: “It’s been great to see the recent additions of high calibre candidates around the Magma offices, and Chris adds to that influx.

“Being able to attract individuals from competing firms is a testament to the positive direction of the business and the ‘people’ focussed culture Magma prides itself on. “We are delighted to welcome Chris to the team and believe his experience will add real value to upcoming projects.”
