PEM bolsters audit and accounts team with new partner

Cambridge accountancy firm PEM has promoted Nikki Loan to partner in its Audit and Accounts team, bringing the total number of partners at the firm to 21.

Loan joined PEM in 2021 after spending the last 25 years in the charity and not for profit sector. 

She previously provided audit services and accounting support with PwC and Deloitte, where alongside her audit portfolio she led the technical update and charity accreditation training for the national charities and not for profit group. Her focus is on charities and non-profit organisations.

Loan said: “I have been delighted by the warm welcome from my colleagues since joining PEM in 2021, and I am excited to be part of such an open, collaborative partner group. I have enjoyed a key role in supporting the firm’s technical capacity and look forward to building on this as part of our commitment to audit quality. 

“I will continue to bring my skills and enthusiasm to further focus on charities and non-profit organisations, working with our growing team of experienced charity specialists to deliver both audit and non-audit services.”
