Azets appoints new wealth management COO

According to the company the appointment is part of the group’s “ambitious plans” to scale Azets Wealth Management in response to growing demand for financial advice

Azets has announced the appointment of Steve Tennant as chief operating officer of its wealth management business.

Tenant joins Azets from Mitie where he was the customer experience and operations director. He has worked in wealth management for more than 20 years, starting his career as a financial planner.

He was responsible for establishing the Barclays Financial Planning Academy which created careers in wealth management for over 100 planners.

Tennant said: “I’m excited to join Azets and be part of a Wealth Management team that has such strong growth ambitions. My experience of building businesses will support our expansion strategy as we look to scale and expand across the UK. I was attracted to joining a team so determined to deliver service excellence to our clients as well as being a fantastic place to work.”
