DJH Mitten Clarke appoints new CTO

DJH Mitten Clarke has bolstered its team with four senior appointments in recent weeks

DJH Mitten Clarke has appointed senior IT officer, Paul Freeman, to drive technology innovation for the accountancy and financial services group, through a comprehensive IT strategy across its offices in the West Midlands and North West.

Freeman takes on the role of chief technical officer at DJH Mitten Clarke, following a series of acquisitions which has seen the team grow to over 300 across its five offices in Stoke-on-Trent, Chester, Manchester and Walsall.

Freeman, from the Cotswolds, joins Integrations manager Andrew Johnson, Compliance and Quality director Gavin Ball and Mergers and Acquisitions director Richard Crook, who joined the DJH Mitten Clarke Group in summer 2022.

Scott Heath, group managing director, said: “We’ve grown as a group and we intend to continue on the same trajectory in 2023. We’ve therefore acted to boost our senior team to ensure our systems and processes are state-of-the-art and all elements are in place for future success.

“Paul comes to DJH Mitten Clarke with a fantastic-track record as an IT Director and project manager in the accountancy and legal sector having worked with a number of top 20 firms during his career.”

He added: “Following a period of rapid growth, we need to fully align our IT services, systems and processes across our offices. This will enhance the services that we offer our customers and streamline the experience for our team, enabling us to be as efficient and effective as possible.”
