Azets has announced the appointment of Cheryl Dickens-Evans as the firm’s new assistant manager in a bid to accelerate the growth of its Shrewsbury office.
Dickens-Evans is ACCA qualified with 25 years of experience, having worked with SME clients on accounts and tax issues.
The appointment strengthens the Azets’ Shrewsbury team as the firm plans to increase its regional reach and capability, delivering a local service to SME clients across Shropshire.
It comes off the back of Shropshire Council’s planned £77m investment in improving the town centre and riverside area set to create jobs, build homes, attract new business and boost the local and regional economy, as part of the wider £800m investment in the Big Town Plan.
Dickens-Evans said: “I’m excited to join Azets and looking forward to meeting new clients and colleagues, enhancing my own knowledge and delivering specialist services to SMEs across Shropshire.”
James Dawson, partner at Azets in Shrewsbury, added: “We welcome Cheryl to the rapidly expanding Azets team here in Shrewsbury, as we accelerate growth in the region and our clients continue to benefit from the full breadth and depth of services we offer.”
