EY-Parthenon has announced the appointment of Simon Fahy to its transaction strategy and execution (TS&E) team.
Fahy rejoins EY as a director after spending the last five years working in Toronto for a big four practice. He began his career in pharmaceutical manufacturing at GSK.
In his new role, the firm said Fahy will be combining his operations and transactions experience to support EY-Parthenon’s private equity and corporate clients in “complex” deals, focusing on value creation and operational due diligence.
He will be based in EY’s Belfast office where he will support the growth of the TS&E team in Northern Ireland. The Belfast team is an “integral” part of the wider UK TS&E team, initially focusing on pre-deal projects across operations, IT and cyber due diligence.
Fahy said: “I am excited to be joining EY-Parthenon and am looking forward to growing the new TS&E team in Belfast which offers unique career opportunities in the local market. As someone who has moved into transactions from industry, I’m keen to share my experience and help others make the transition into this really exciting area of mergers and acquisitions.”
