MHA names Kathryn Edmands as new partner

Edmands works with a diverse range of clients, including entrepreneurial businesses and large multi-nationals across the UK, providing an ‘exceptional’ level of support.

MHA Macintyre Hudson has announced the appointment of Kathryn Edmands as its new partner in Thames Valley.

Edmands’ appointment to the partnership reportedly reflects MHA’s commitment to investing in “talented individuals” and to its expansion in the Thames Valley.

According to the firm, Edmands will play a “vital role” as the firm continues to strengthen and expand its team in the region to ensure they continue to provide a “comprehensive” service to clients that meets all of their business and personal financial needs.

Edmand joined MHA in January 2017 having worked for another top 20 firm for over 10 years. Since being promoted to director in April 2020, she has “steadily” grown her client portfolio and expertise in audit and business advice, specialising in the media, entertainment and technology sectors.

The firm said Edmands works with a diverse range of clients, including entrepreneurial businesses and large multi-nationals across the UK, providing an “exceptional” level of support and solutions for her clients through all market conditions.

Kate Arnott, partner and member of the firm’s management board, said: “We are delighted to welcome Kathryn to the Partnership.  Her promotion recognises her outstanding contribution to the firm over the last five years and the key role she has played in helping us grow and expand our services across the region.

“Kathryn’s professional experience and technical abilities are exemplary, as are the strong relationships she naturally builds with clients to ensure that they are getting the very best advice and services. She is a great asset to our firm.”

Edmands added: “It’s great to work for a firm with such a strong client focus and to be part of such a dedicated team. I’m looking forward to rising to the challenges of partnership and building on the strong business we have built in the region.

“Given the additional challenges clients are facing in the aftermath of Covid-19 and complex global issues, it’s vital that they have access to expert advice they can trust.”
