Mazars appoints two partners in Birmingham

Dolan joins from KPMG where he was Technology Enablement managing director and Howe joins from Cooper Parry with expertise in the automotive sector.

Mazars has appointed Elisa Howe as an audit partner and Jim Dolan as a technology and digital partner in the firm’s Birmingham office.

Howe joins Mazars from Cooper Parry and she will be responsible for driving “further growth” with Privately Owned Business clients in the Midlands and across the UK.

She has an “extensive” network across the Midlands, having worked in the region throughout her career, and she has particular expertise in the automotive sector.

Mazars said she “will contribute to a team culture in which every individual is valued and given the opportunity to succeed irrespective of their background”.

Meanwhile, Dolan has joined the Mazars team from KPMG where he was Technology Enablement managing director. Dolan will focus on growing and developing Mazars’ Technology and Digital Practice which has reportedly doubled in size over the last year across the UK, with a particular emphasis on the Financial Services sector.

He brings more than 30 years of experience in providing strategic advice to clients on business digital transformation and has won two national awards for leading large-scale technology transformation programmes, including the Retail Systems Award and Computing Magazine Award for Excellence.

Ian Holder, Birmingham office managing partner, said: “It’s a pleasure to welcome Elisa and Jim to our rapidly growing team. We have a thriving business community in Birmingham and, from our stunning new home at Two Chamberlain Square, our team is going from strength to strength.

“These appointments underscore our ongoing commitment to growing our Technology and Digital offering, and our services for privately owned businesses, while ensuring we continue to provide the highest quality service to our clients.”
