Interpath Advisory has announced that Peter Collini, founder of the award-winning corporate finance business Riverhill Partners, has joined the firm as of 1 November 2021 as a managing director.

During a career spanning more than 30 years, Collini has led over 70 financial restructuring and debt financing transactions with a combined value of over £20bn, and has advised management boards on their business plans, financing strategies and capital structures.

In 2005, he founded Riverhill Partners in order to provide “independent restructuring and debt advice for privately-owned, listed and private equity backed businesses:, as well as government and quasi-government entities.

He is also currently senior independent director and chairman of the audit committee at driver group plc.

In his new role at Interpath, Collini will work closely with Gareth Williams and James Fagan, and John Miesner, Ben Smith and Sandra Kylassam-Pillay, who head up the firm’s financial restructuring and debt advisory teams respectively, to help grow and develop their practices.

Mark Raddan, head of advisory for Interpath, said: “Peter is one of the UK’s pre-eminent financial restructuring experts, with an enviable track record of extracting and protecting maximum value from transactions.

“His wealth of experience as a company-side advisor, and in particular his work on complex refinancing, will add further weight to our financial restructuring and debt advisory client offerings. We will benefit greatly from his expertise and insights as we build further these two fundamentally important parts of our business.”

Collini added: “Following many successful years with Riverhill and the achievement of all of our objectives, it’s an exciting time for me to join Interpath at the beginning of their independent journey.

“I’ve known and worked closely with Interpath’s leaders over the years and we share the same values, ethos and business principles, always focussing on providing the right advice to achieve the most successful outcomes.”
