BDO has strengthened its audit practice through the appointment of two new partners.\r\n\r\nMatthew Haverson will now join the firm as a partner in its technology and media team. He joins from PwC and will be based in London.\u00a0\r\n\r\nAccording to the firm, Haverson has several years of experience working with a variety of businesses in the technology sector, ranging from smaller businesses looking to scale-up, to larger, listed firms.\r\n\r\nIn addition, David Perry also joins as a partner, with a focus on businesses operating in betting, gaming and the hospitality sector. Prior to his appointment, he worked at Deloitte.\u00a0\r\n\r\nPerry is said to bring with him vast experience working in the audit and advisory space, with clients from start-ups to FTSE 250 firms. In previous roles, he spent time supporting businesses across a range of sectors including consumer markets, real estate, technology and media and manufacturing.\r\n\r\nPaul Eagland, managing partner at BDO, said: \u201cI am pleased to be able to welcome Matthew and David to the firm today, who both bring a great deal of expertise and years of experience with them.\u00a0\r\n\r\n\u201cThese appointments come as part of our ongoing investment in our audit capabilities and resources.
