Grant Thornton has announced the appointment of Charlotte Anderson as partner at the firm’s audit team in Milton Keynes

Anderson joins Grant Thornton following 16 years at a ‘big four’ accountancy firm, where she developed expertise in the mid-market, advising private, equity-backed and AIM-listed companies.

Her experience includes working on innovation projects with UK businesses to “improve the audit process” through the adoption of digital technologies.

In her new role, Anderson will work across Beds, Herts and Bucks covering a range of sectors including manufacturing, services, automotive, health and education.

Anderson graduated from the University of Sheffield with a First in Mathematics before qualifying as an accountant.

Anderson said: “Grant Thornton has a fantastic, multi-disciplinary team in Milton Keynes. In a period of significant change for the audit market, we have a great opportunity to continue to grow our client base as businesses seek out advisors committed to excellent service and value.

“Joining the partnership is a brilliant opportunity for me to focus on the region’s thriving mid-market and to pursue my passion for supporting ambitious businesses as they grow and innovate.”
