Moore Kingston Smith announces director promotion

David Mitchell brings roughly 21 years of advisory services experience to the position, specialising in managing investments and providing tax planning advice

Accountancy group Moore Kingston Smith has announced the promotion of David Mitchell to director at the firm.

Based in the financial advisory team, Mitchell’s wealth management expertise is intended to support the firm in driving growth and expanding its financial advisory offering.

Mitchell brings roughly 21 years of advisory services experience to the position, specialising in managing investments and providing tax planning advice.

He said: “I’m thrilled to be joining the board of the financial advisory arm of such a dynamic, multi-disciplinary professional services firm. 

“I’m looking forward to supporting this highly collaborative working environment, enabling our colleagues to achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients.”

Mitchell joined the group from a London-based practice, where he oversaw £100m of client assets as head of the wealth management team.

He has since acted as a member of the investment committee since 2017 and the executive management team since 2018.
