Evans Entwistle names director promotion

Evans Entwistle, a Cardiff-based group of chartered accountants, has announced the promotion of Matthew Ward to director at the firm.

Ward will now join Damian Evans and Lisa Entwistle, partners at the company, on its board of directors.

Previously a senior manager at the firm, Ward brings eight years of experience working at Evans Entwistle to the new role.

Ward first joined the Penarth practice in 2013 as an associate accountant, and has worked his way through the ranks to join the practice’s board.

Evans said that Ward has been an “integral part” of the group’s South Wales team “for many years”.

He added: “His breadth of accountancy and tax knowledge coupled with his outstanding client management skills made him the natural choice for a senior level promotion.”
