Finzo, a recently launched accountancy and tech advisory startup, has announced the appointment of Mark Cotterell as its new account executive.

Cotterell will be tasked with ensuring the needs of prospective and existing clients alike are met as the group’s growth gathers pace.

Specialising in building relationships and understanding the needs of clients, Cotterell joins the firm, who advises its clients on the apps they can use to automate their business processes.

Darren Buckley, managing director at Finzo, said: “It’s great to welcome Mark to the finzo team. He brings with him a great track record of building strong working relationships with businesses, which is ultimately what we are all about.

“I’m sure our clients, existing and prospective, will value working with Mark as we look to set them on a path to rapid growth.”

Cotterell provides the position with roughly 15 years of experience in both sales and business development roles.

He said that it is “exciting to be joining Finzo” as the firm “shakes up the accountancy profession” through its use of tech and advisory services.

He added: “I can’t wait to start engaging with ambitious businesses that share our entrepreneurial outlook and which are looking to grow quickly.

“Finzo’s combination of accountancy, business advisory and tech advisory has the potential to transform businesses to fulfil their ambitions for growth.”
