Alvarez and Marsal Taxand (A&M Taxand), an affiliate of professional services firm Alvarez and Marsal, has announced a trio of senior director appointments.
Nick Walton, Jack Hollyman, and John Bettley-Smith will all join the group’s infrastructure investors services team in a bid to demonstrate the firm’s commitment to meeting the market’s evolving needs.
Walton’s appointment represents an expansion of A&M Taxand’s Manchester operations, as he is tasked with advising infrastructure funds and mid-market private equity firms through the entire transaction lifecycle.
Joining the group’s London office, Hollyman will specialise in private equity and infrastructure tax advisory, while Bettley-Smith is responsible for assisting infrastructure and sovereign wealth funds with a range of tax issues.
Jason Clatworthy, managing director at A&M Taxand, said: “John, Jack and Nick bring a collective wealth of infrastructure clients’ needs and sector experience which aligns with our operational heritage and our leadership, action, results approach.
“Their expertise will help clients navigate the post-pandemic infrastructure asset class tax issues on the horizon.”
Marvin Rust added that the appointments represent “the next phase of our strategic growth plan” as the group extends its “geographic footprint and depth of capabilities”.
