Albert Goodman make two partner promotions

Michelle Ferris has been made partner in the firms Taunton office, and Lyndsay Blackshaw has been promoted to partner in the firms Yeovil office

Albert Goodman, a South-West chartered accountancy firm, has made two partner promotions across its Taunton and Yeovil offices. 

Michelle Ferris has been with Albert Goodman since 2006 and qualified as a chartered accountant in 2008. She is responsible for the firm’s charity and care teams, specialising in the public sector, not-for-profit and charitable organisations. 

Ferris is also a statutory auditor and provides all round accountancy and audit services as well as advising clients on governance, structures and mergers from the company’s head office in Taunton.

Meanwhile, Lyndsay Blackshaw joined Albert Goodman in 2011 partially qualified from another accountancy firm, and qualified as a chartered certified accountant one year later. 

She has risen to the level of partner by gaining a “wealth of experience” that comes with managing a large portfolio of clients. 

Blackshaw primarily works with owner-managed businesses and medical practices, to whom she provides expert accounting, tax and business advice based out of the firm’s Yeovil office.
