Azets has appointed Scott Browning as associate director of audit and assurance in its Orpington, Kent office.

Browning was formerly part of the leadership team at Baxter and Co where he obtained a  “wealth of experience” over the past 14 years. Prior to that, Scott undertook his professional training at Crane and Partners.

In his new role, he will work extensively with Azets academy clients, drawing on his experience in the academy sector “helping and advising” clients of varying sizes.

He said: “I am thrilled to become part of the Azets team with the opportunities it offers, and have been very pleased with the warm welcome and support I have received. Joining a new company in a pandemic is an unusual experience but everyone has made me feel very much at home already.”

Cathy Cooper, audit partner at Azets, added: “We are very fortunate to have Scott join us as a key member of our growing  Orpington team and his skills and experience will  greatly help us service our impressive client base as well as expand the business.”
