Willshee’s has announced that John D’Aubney has been appointed to finance director bringing with him over 30 years’ experience.

Having worked across numerous international markets, D’Aubney joins the group from Staffordshire-based Leavesley Group where he was group finance director.

Earlier in his career, he also worked in a number of finance and system development roles including working at the head office at Lloyds TSB, and prior to that working at KPMG’s audit and compliance division.

He has a degree in accounting and finance from the University of Birmingham and is a fellow of the institute of chartered accountants.

D’Aubney said: “I am delighted to have joined Willshee’s at such an exciting time.

“My particular focus will be leading the team in first class financial processes, controls and reporting to support the business as we look to achieve some very ambitious targets over the next five years.”

Dean Willshee, managing director of Willshee’s added: “John has tremendous pedigree and a strong, impressive track record so we are very pleased that he has joined our leadership team, bringing skills and experience that will help us to grow and fulfil our ambitions.”
