Davis Grant has announced the appointment of Jenny Cessini as its new associate director.
Cessini takes on the role after 20 years with the accounting firm, having joined Davis Grant as a trainee at the age of 18.
In her new role, Cessini will help the firm’s existing board by strengthening communication and processes throughout the practice to assist with the “fast-growth” of Davis Grant.
Furthermore, she will be responsible for leading the mentoring and training of the accounts department, while still liaising with other department managers to ensure mentoring and training provisions remain the same across the firm.
On her appointment, Cessini said: “I am delighted to be taking up this new position within the firm. Throughout my career, everyone at the practice has been so supportive and they have helped me to develop into the person and professional that I am today.
“I am looking forward to playing a positive role in the development and expansion of Davis Grant in the years to come.”
Barry Chernoff, the firm’s director, said: “It is great to see that Jenny is taking the next step in her professional journey. I feel very proud to have played a role in her development and seen how far she has come since joining us as a trainee all those years ago.
“Jenny has a great business sense and she has been exemplary in her conscientiousness and dedication to Davis Grant. All of the Directors are excited to see her continue to progress in her new role. This is an important step for the future development of our practice.”
He added: “Having started as a trainee, as many of the long-standing team at Davis Grant have done, including some of the current Directors, it highlights the success of the esteemed Davis Grant Trainee program.”
