Magma Chartered Accountants, an independent firm of chartered accountants, chartered tax advisors, and financial advisors, has announced seven promotions across its audit, business services, and tax divisions.

Both George Wake and George Newton have been promoted to assistant managers in the firm’s audit and accounts team.

Also appointed to assistant manager, Louise Kirkland and Fiona Porter will serve in the group’s business services department.

Magma’s tax team sees Hayley Anstee promoted to private tax manager, with Tom McDonnell and Callum Bramley appointed as senior corporate tax consultants.

Mark Tuckwell, managing partner at Magma, said: “Despite the unrivalled challenges of the last 12 months, the business continues to go from strength to strength.

“The work ethic and client service dedication of our teams over the last year has been fantastic.”

He added that the “well deserved” promotions are a sign of the group’s “continued success and hugely progressive culture”.
