Robert Wheeldon and Tony Surge will both join the group’s London operation, providing more than 30 years’ experience to the roles.
Specialising in corporate restructuring and personal insolvency cases, Wheeldon’s responsibilities involve undertaking complex investigations, tracing undisclosed assets, and identifying recovery claims against various parties.
While also a specialist in restructuring, Sturge’s background centres around providing clients and their stakeholders with advice during times of distress.
During his career, Sturge has supported firms in the development of contingency plans, while also performing numerous sets of reviews, from independent business to short term cashflow.
David Hudson, partner at FRP, said: “Investment in talent has always been a core part of our business, so it’s great to welcome experienced professionals such as Robert and Tony to the team.
“With both having worked in the industry in different capacities for a number of years, they bring a breadth of knowledge that will no doubt strength our support for clients.”
He added that the appointments will support FRP’s clients “navigate the post-pandemic landscape”, through both “honest and clear guidance to tackle complex situations”.
