Azets names Chris Horne as deputy chief executive officer

In his latest role he will support CEO Dawn Marriott on the development and expansion of the business across Europe and the UK

Accountancy firm Azets has appointed Chris Horne to the role as deputy chief executive officer. 

In his latest role he will support CEO Dawn Marriott on the development and expansion of the business across Europe and the UK.

Prior to his appointment, Horne was managing partner for Azets in Scotland and Northern England and had previously led its the Scottish firm through a period of “rapid organic growth and the acquisition of six leading independent firms in Scotland”.

Horne said: “I am delighted to have been appointed to this exciting new role at Azets and I’m looking forward to working with the senior leadership team to drive the growth and development of the business.”

“Azets is already the largest regional adviser to SMEs in the UK and provider of outsourced accounting in the Nordics and we are well-known as a leading provider of digitally-led accounting and advisory services.”

He added: “This creates a strong platform to grow our business.  We will do this by providing efficient compliance services, smart commercial advice to clients and lots of career opportunities.
