Baines Jewitt Chartered Accountants has announced the onboarding of Jacqueline James to the firm’s ‘outsourced payroll bureau’ team.
Prior to this role James was working for over two years with a payroll software organisation, as well as gaining experience across a variety of other sectors, from caring for young people and adults with learning disabilities to retail and product management.
She also has accredited qualifications from the Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP).
James said: “I’m looking forward to getting to know our clients and finding ways to help with the smooth running of their business activities.
“In particular, I’m delighted to be joining a team that helps to take the pressure off business owners by taking care of everything from processing wages, overtime and sick pay to dealing with workplace pension auto-enrolment, completing statutory paperwork and keeping people compliant with HMRC.”
