Online trading group IG Group has announced the appointment of Charlie Rozes as chief financial officer, effective 1 June.
Rozes succeeds Paul Mainwaring who is retiring from the company. Rozes will join as an executive director as well as CFO.
He has previously held senior positions at ‘Big 4’ accountancy firm PwC in the US management consulting practice and following that held senior executive roles at IBM and Bank of America.
In 2007, he joined Barclays where he was the chief financial officer of Barclays UK Retail and Business Bank and was promoted to global head of investor relations in 2011. He was also the group finance director at Jardine Lloyd Thompson from September 2015 until April 2019 when it was acquired by Marsh and McLennan Companies.
