AAT has announced a series of appointments to its account management team in the UK.

Danielle Smith, a fellow member of AAT, has joined as regional account manager for the Midlands. Smith initially qualified as an accountant before moving into the education sector, where she has experience lecturing in accountancy and business.

Yvonne Eaves has also joined the AAT as regional account manager for the London north region. Eaves joins from City and Guilds where she worked as a business manager, while she has held account management roles at the NCFE.

Amy Bishop is the third regional account manager to join, and will hold responsibility for the north west region. Bishop has a “strong track record” in business development and account management within colleges and training providers.

Finally, the AAT has appointed Marlon Thomas who will have specific responsibilities for UK-based employers. Thomas has previous experience engaging employers at both Kaplan Financial and A4E, while he most recently was a partner and sales director at Speech Inspired Employment/First Class Education Solutions.

Rob Alder, head of business development at the AAT, said: “AAT’s high quality accounting qualifications are respected across the UK.

“However, with a dynamic market, it’s critical that we have skilled and extremely competent account managers to maintain strong relationships with both training providers and employers, to ensure we continue to grow our market and ensure our products and services meet customer needs.”

He added: “We are thrilled that Danielle, Yvonne, Amy, and Marlon have joined us. All four individuals have been identified for their attitude to delivering a strong service as well as their experience in the accounting and education sector. We look forward to them developing their skills further with AAT.”
