Bhimal Hira, head of business development at accountancy firm Jeffreys Henry, has been promoted to business development partner.
Since joining the firm in 2008, the firm said Hira has supported the wider partnership through a period of “unprecedented” double-digit growth by expanding its sector and service specialisms, implementing key technological advances and helped deliver a first class client experience.
More recently, Hira supported the firm’s international expansion through Morison KSi, which allowed it to gain access to over 152 independent member firms in 81 countries.
Justin Randall, managing partner at Jeffreys Henry, said: “It is highly unusual for non-accountants to be promoted to partner, but this is a testimony to the impact Bhimal has had at Jeffreys Henry.
“He has contributed significantly to the success of our firm during his career by implementing a range of campaigns which has helped extend our brand awareness far beyond our existing professional relationships, which have subsequently won some of the firm’s largest and high-profile clients.”
He added: “Our people are at the heart of our success and Bhimal’s promotion reflects our commitment to nurturing and rewarding the talent we hold within the firm.”
