EY has announced it has appointed two new directors to its Midlands advisory team, Niraj Patel and Sally-Anne Woulidge.

Patel has joined EY from Big Four rivals PwC, and will aim to help EY with its local business work, while Woulidge joins from KPMG, and will look to grow the firm’s business risk assurance offering.

Patel is a specialist in data management frameworks including GDPR compliance, while Woulidge joins with 20 years of experience in auditing and risk management.

Piers Clinton-Tarestad, head of advisory at EY in the Midlands, said: “It’s an exciting time for our local advisory practice and team, as we continue to recruit to meet the demands of our clients. I’m really delighted to have Niraj and Sally-Anne join us and they are a key part of our continued focus on the thriving regional market.”
