Duncan & Toplis makes three senior appointments

East Midlands accountancy group Duncan and Toplis has made three new senior-level appointments, electing a new member to its management board and appointing two new directors at its offices in Louth and Grantham.

Mark Taylor has joined the management board for the next four years to help deliver the company’s “vision for the future”. He also represents Duncan and Toplis on international tax matters as part of Kreston International, a global network of over 200 accountancy firms in 125 countries.

Taylor said: “I’m delighted to have been elected to the board and it’s great to have the confidence of Duncan and Toplis’ equity directors behind me. Joining the management board means that I’ll have a key role in determining the future of the business as we approach our 100th anniversary in just a few years.

“I’m passionate about enabling our teams of experts to continue to deliver the excellent service that they provide our clients.”

Additionally, Rachel Barrett has been promoted to director at Duncan and Toplis’ Louth office, joining the current office director, Nick Cudmore, who has been in the role for 12 years.

Mark Foster has also been promoted to associate director after 12 years at the company’s office in Grantham. Foster joined the team straight from university and has worked his way through Duncan and Toplis’ development programme.

Managing director Adrian Reynolds added: “We’ve achieved some great things over the past 12 months, from several award wins to becoming a top 30 UK accountancy firm and our latest appointments will help us build on these successes.

“I’m delighted that at Duncan and Toplis, we continue to bring more and more talented professionals to these senior positions as we push forward with our vision for the next few years and grow the company. Mark, Mark and Rachel bring years of experience and client knowledge to their respective roles, and I’m confident they will be hugely successful moving forward.”
