EY-Parthenon has recently announced the appointments of James Nicholson as leader of its strategy practice and Nick Feingold and Lluis Borrell as partners of the strategy team.

Nicholson takes on the role of EY-Parthenon strategy leader from Matt Robb who has led the practice for five years and will now take on the role of global EY-Parthenon education leader. Nicholson joined EY in 2014 from Roland Berger where he led the UK automotive and industrials group.

He is currently sector leader of energy transition, a combined sector team covering AM&M (Advanced Manufacturing and Mobility) and energy, which helps corporate clients navigate the transition.

Regarding his appointment, Nicholson said: “I’m excited to be building on Matt’s great work to lead the team through its next phase of development. EY-Parthenon’s strength lies in its ability to tap into diverse sector teams to deliver expertise across strategy, transactions and implementation.”

Feingold joins as a partner in EY-Parthenon’s customer and growth strategy practice in the UK and Ireland, a pan-sector team which helps maximise profitable growth for clients, through value, proposition, innovation and commercial excellence. He joins EY from a leading multinational online retailer, where he helped to build and grow several business units. Prior to that, he was at Accenture Strategy, where he advised cross-sector clients on commercial excellence and digital strategy.

Borrell joins the EY-Parthenon TMT practice and will focus on digital infrastructure/telecoms and sports/media. He brings over 25 years TMT experience in management consulting and industry, advising investors and corporate clients across the UK and Europe on investments and strategy. Prior to joining EY-Parthenon, he was an associate partner at FTI Consulting/Delta Partners in London, where he co-led their digital infra work in London and Europe.

Steve Ivermee, UK & Ireland strategy and transactions leader at EY said: “I’m delighted to welcome Nick and Lluis and congratulate James on his new role as EY-Parthenon Strategy leader.”
